Projects, Projects, Projects!

It’s been a long time, been a long time…sorry, no real entry here. Just…hello! How’s it going? The three of you who (might) read this. I think you already know what’s been up with my life, so this will probably be redundant…anyway, here goes…

I’ve been working as an office assistant and PR guy at a chiropractor’s office since August…it is challenging and rewarding works. The husband-wife couple, Drs. Phil and Bridget, really care about our community and want to see everyone “subluxation”-free, which means removing life-endangering interference from the nervous system via a specific adjustment. If you want to know more about chiropractic let me know; I’d be happy to tell you about it and recommend a reputable chiropractor in your area.

What else, what else? I’m helping an author, who shall remain nameless, edit his forthcoming novel; I am collaborating with another on a different project, and someone else is helping me edit the book I’m writing. Furthermore, this other guy is going to be redesigning and retooling Philip and I’s site. Oh, and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution did a story about me in September. So yipee. Lotsa creative stuff, which makes me happy.

I hope to have a real ‘blog soon, the kind you write in daily. I’m hoping by Christmas. You know whose ‘blog I like reading? Well, besides these of course, I really like Moby’s. He always has quirky and real things to say, for a mega-quad pop star.

Oh, I had a 25th birthday recently. Thank you so much, all of you, who made the whole month really special. First of all, something like three weeks beforehand, my best friend in all the world, Seth, took me to his house for the weekend, and to Helen for Oktoberfest. It was a night of Gernmanness that I will not soon forget. As well as Seth-ness. The following weekend, the love of my life, Jasmin, took me to see R.E.M. in concert at the Gwinett Arena. The show was amazing . They’re one of my fave bands methinks. Afterward, we tooled around that night and the next day with Jamie and Marla Poissant. Jamie is my ex…roomate, that is (and he’s a guy). Look for him in the bookstores soon; he’s a real up-and-comer in the literary world. He’s already an editor for the Chatahooche Review. Finally, on my actual birthday, October 30th, a whole lotta folks (for my world anyway) got together at Provino’s in Rome to celebrate, including surprise guest stars, like Jennie and Eriana. Tacos are forever. Later, most of us went to some sisters’ house for some good clean fun. It was swell. Thanks again guys….you’re all real swell. Now, at a quarter century–complete with ambitions frustrated and fulfilled, a mysterious (still-unresolved) illness, swelling loves and unrequited lossess–I face my future proudly, with those I’m privilaged to call my friends.

THANK YOU for being who you are. Much love to you all.
