Tree of Life

When I allow myself the luxury of silence
In naked stillness and love within God
Refusing to know anything
Apophatic hunger grips me
And I am eating from the Tree of Life

When I emerge from this place of unknowing
And re-enter the sounds of daily living
Free of judgment toward friends and strangers
Then I know that Life’s Fruit has planted a seed in me
And I am joining other awakening ones in the healing of nations
