This is disturbing on so many levels.
It is downright scary how much trash the Christian media creates. Adding the tiny speck of Biblical truth doesn’t make it any better. It only serves to cheapen the truth. Perhaps even to the point of blasphemy?
I’m not sure I follow, Jonathan. The e-comic ‘Sinfest’ is not ‘Christian media’ I’m pretty sure. How does this effect your analysis. To me this strip reads – however wittingly or not – as a prophetic critique of civil religion.
