When I recently shared about my life-long struggle with anxiety, it hit a nerve with so many of you.

And when I shared that a subtle, little-known movement modality called Feldenkrais has been one powerful tool I use to ‘drop in’ deeper to my own body, transforming my experience of myself and others, many of you were intrigued.

“Can I learn Feldenkrais where I live?” some readers asked.

“Is it possible to study with your teacher?” others of you wondered.

The answer to the first question is “Yes.” You can practice Feldenkrais in in-person groups, in some locations, depending on where you live…though it can be challenging to find a teacher and group, and some find it intimidating to just jump right into a brand-new environment.

The answer to the second question has been “Yes, you can study with my teacher, Lavinia Plonka —she’s one of the best.”

And: you’d need to travel to the mountains of Asheville, North Carolina, or one of her other workshop locations around the world. This isn’t always cost-effective.
